Ein Od Milvado
Divine Providence

The Purpose

The Path to Serenity

Serenity and tranquility can be attained. The knowledge that Hashem is intimately involved in our lives and
is watching over us with Divine Providence gives us constant peace of mind.

Acceptance of
the Past

Whatever happened happened because Hashem, my Father Who loves me, wanted it to be exactly that way. If it should have been different, it would have been different.

Peace in
the Present

Life may not be perfect, but there’s purpose in my pain. It’s not because of the annoying boss, or the rainy weather. It’s because Hashem wanted me to go through this plight.

Hope for
the Future

No matter how many years have passed or what statistics may show, Hashem has the power to turn over a situation in the blink of an eye. He can – and will – do anything.
“He shows in the halachos, and the episodes related in the Tanach, how every detail of human behavior is governed by the Divine Guidance of Hashem Yisborach, which we are expected to follow – and which becomes the theme of true Jewish life.”

Rav Yaakov Perlow

Novominsker Rebbe
“As expressed with love, erudition, and depth on every page, Chazal have found meaning in the most extraordinary circumstances, but even more importantly, in the most seemingly mundane. And it is here – in the most mundane – that the author finds his most profound expression. This is where the echo of Hakadosh Boruch Hu resides, if only one attunes the religious ear to hear that great, mighty small voice and grasps the meaning.”

Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm

President Yeshiva University
“Ein od milvado is the awareness that no power in the world can influence our destiny without the retzon Hashem. It is the awareness that Hashem Yisborach accompanies us in every step of our life, and that if we are zoche we can reach a level of closeness to Him. Our friend has compiled a wonderful kuntres dealing with the shitos of rishonim and acharonim on the topic of hashgacha pratis. The breadth of the knowledge of the author and the amount of sources spread over the entire Torah sheb’chsav and Torah sheb’al pe are really remarkable. They can contribute to be a base for further development of yesodos related to this important topic.”

Rav Yisroel Mantel

Rosh HaKahal K’hal Adath Jeshurun
“As I perused your sefer, I was intrigued by the broad spectrum of sources you marshaled to develop your insights and original lessons. May your sefer receive the recognition and respect it deserves.”

Rabbi Avrohom Chaim Feuer

Rav Sharei Chesed, Jerusalem Israel
“It is not a surprise to me that you put together such an important sefer filled with hashkafa and relevant halacha. It is known that the expression of hashpa’a is taken from the word shefa, to indicate that when a person has an abundance of a virtue, it spills over to others.”

Rabbi Avrohom Kanarek

Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, Jerusalem Israel
